Full Bio:

Based in Vancouver, morato began producing music at the age of 16, finding his voice as a singer and songwriter the following year after heartbreak revealed the depth of his emotions. Music quickly became a creative outlet, a way to channel vulnerability into warm, intimate, and melodic songs that balance softness with occasional dark, hard-hitting sonic textures.

Working closely with guitarist Julian Ray and producer "Ngyn", and frequently co-writing with "Mzn", morato crafts music that blends ambient atmospheres, intricate guitar work, and mainstream pop sensibilities. His influences are clear: Keshi in his production and sonic choices, John Mayer in guitar-driven stylings, and Justin Bieber in approachable, emotive pop songwriting.

With the release of his new single “pretty lies,” morato deepens his exploration of emotional honesty, delivering a late-night, introspective track that reflects growth in both songwriting and sonic direction.
